Relationships and Sex Education (RSE)
Relationships and Sex Education
During the Spring and Summer of 2020 we established a working party of parents and our Foundation governors and Reverend to support the teaching of Relationships and Sex Education at Woodseaves.
We followed guidance from the Lichfield Diocese of Education and the Church of England to ensure that our approach ensures that children are able to cherish themselves and others as unique and wonderfully made, keep themselves safe and able to form healthy relationships where they respect and afford dignity to others. We will provide children with the knowledge that will enable them to navigate and contextualise in a world in which many will try to tell them how to behave, what to do and what to think. It will help them to develop the skills to express their own views and make their own informed decisions. This is a shared responsibility between parents and the school. We will update this page with our progress.
